Concept
This is how immersive VR users can experience the innovative Audis of the new e-tron generation. Up close - in the truest sense of the word, because our VR experiences combine virtual with real sensory impressions: real wind machines simulate the airstream and also convey a sense of speed.
The visual impressions are also deceptively real: We modeled the Audi e-tron in 3D based on the original vehicle data and then implemented the VR experiences using the ultimate game development platform Unity 3D. The result: graphics and performance that are really fun and make even gamers’ hearts beat faster.
The jury of the Next Reality Award agrees. It awarded the Audi e-tron VR Experience 2017 the “Best Experience” prize.
